Joanne Hayes

Joanne Hayes, Camberwell ChiropractorJoanne Hayes had her first adjustment when she was 15 for an acute neck problem. Little did she know how big that “small” adjustment would be for her health then and eventually instrumental in steering her towards becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic.

Since graduating from RMIT Melbourne in 2000 Joanne has worked both as an associate and locum chiropractor in various practices around Australia. She eventually established her own busy practice in Collins Street, Melbourne. Just before the birth of her second child, Joanne sold that practice to spend the next couple of years focused on her family. In 2009 Joanne joined Simply Health Chiropractic. She brings to our practice a wealth of knowledge and experience.

With continuing professional development, Joanne has studied several techniques which equip her with the tools to passionately provide thorough, safe and effective chiropractic care to all ages and lifestyles, from the newborn to the elderly. She has a special interest in women’s health (particularly pregnancy). Joanne has completed post graduate studies in the field of paediatrics and recent research in this field has reaffirmed to her the importance of chiropractic care for babies and children. Joanne enjoys enthusiastic people who share her positive attitude towards natural health and wellness for themselves and their families.

Outside the practice, Joanne enjoys spending time with her partner, James, and their three children, Macie, William and Elsa. Other interests include climbing, hiking, camping, travelling and experiencing new adventures.
