Craig Hayes~Remedial Massage Therapist

Remedial Massage Therapist<br> Craig HayesAfter completing 10 years in the Health Insurance industry, Craig left the office job to pursue his passions – massage and helping people.  Craig completed his Diploma of Remedial Massage at Melbourne Institute of Massage Therapy in Heidelberg in 2004 and has worked as a full-time practitioner since 2005.  He enjoys treating a wide variety of soft-tissue conditions, utilising his skills in Remedial, Relaxation, Sports and Deep Tissue massage.  Also, he has specialised skills such as Craniofascial Release, Onsen Technique and Myofascial Release to further assist with relaxing tight muscles, increasing movement and alleviating pain.

Born and raised in Lara (near Geelong), Craig has lived in Melbourne since 1992.  In the early 1990’s he spent time at AFL Club, Fitzroy, as a Sports Medical Officer, then onto a local football team, Salesian College, becoming Head Trainer and contributing to their first ever (and only) Grand Final win.  Also, he’s briefly spent time at VFL Club, Box Hill Hawks.  Recently, he’s been treating V.I.S. road and track riders as well as other elite cyclists.

With a strong enthusiasm for treating clients with postural and occupational dysfunctions, sporting or exercise rehabilitation, he encourages a general wellbeing of all of his clients.

My spare time is usually spent with my wife and two boys and my interests are listening to music, all sports, holidays at the beach, good books and good humour.
