Cycling 1000km for Children’s Charities
In just under 4 weeks time one of our chiropractors will be undertaking a great physical and mental challenge by riding his bike 1000km in the north Island of New Zealand. Dr Anthony Coxon will be participating in Chain Reaction, a cycling event that raises money for children’s charities.
“This is my second Chain Reaction. Surprisingly the legs were ok last time and chamois cream worked a treat! At the end you’re just sore in the neck and shoulders, and physically and mentally drained.”
“Importantly, it’s a bunch of cyclists having a great time, and raising much needed funds. The pain we go through is nothing compared to that of families with terminally ill children. It’s the least we can do.”
Very Special Kids
Anthony is doing this to raise funds for Very Special Kids. VSK is an amazing organisation that helps local kids with life threatening illness. They support children and their families, all the way from diagnosis through to recovery or bereavement.

Kim Kennedy Art Donation
Most of you will have seen the amazing artwork we have on our reception wall, featuring wind blown Australian animals. This piece was commissioned to talented local artist, Kim Kennedy. Kim’s studio is just around the corner at 1141 Toorak Road.
Kim has been extremely generous and is donating half the cost of paintings purchased by friends of Simply Health Chiropractic to the Chain Reaction charity (valid until 17 March). If you’d like to buy a painting, you simply make half the payment to Kim and half the payment to the Chain Reaction/Anthony Coxon charity page
Effectively this makes half your art purchase tax deductible. Most importantly, you’ll be supporting a very worthy cause.
