Low Back Pain

Is back pain limiting you from living your life to the fullest?

If you’ve experienced back pain, you know how debilitating it can be. It can make daily tasks difficult and take away the joy of doing the activities you love. Chiropractic care is a natural treatment that may help treat and heal back pain using your body’s natural resources.

At Simply Health, we are qualified to offer chiropractic care, in conjunction with other modalities such as dry needling, cold laser therapy and neurological rehabilitation.

How can Chiropractic care ease your back pain?

You may have tried many solutions to relieve your back pain such as taking over-the-counter analgesics or by using heat pads, but these only provide temporary comfort. Chiropractic care seeks to provide lasting relief by helping treat both the symptoms of back pain and its underlying problem.

Your first visit will start with a comprehensive evaluation where we talk about your symptoms and medical history. We perform a physical examination and an x-ray may be ordered to help us fully understand your condition. We then develop a treatment plan that may help you recover faster and set you in the right direction towards full health and well-being.

Chiropractic treatment for back pain focuses on spinal manipulation and alignment to provide pain relief and stimulate the body’s ability to heal. Spinal realignment is achieved by applying light pressure on key parts of your back or other parts of the body. This may result in reduced muscle tension and reduced pain in the short term and increased muscle strength and improved mobility in the medium to long-term.

Depending on your condition, other methods such as myotherapy massage, stretching and strengthening exercises may be recommended as complementary care.
