Spinal Health Check

Complimentary Spinal Health Check

At Simply Health Chiropractic, we believe regular spinal assessment and health checks are an important part of maintaining good health.

Just like a regular visit to the doctor or dentist to monitor and prevent health issues, the goal of Chiropractic is to ensure good health through the maintenance of a normally functioning spine and nervous system.

Why is the spine so important?

Your spine not only provides you with your structural frame, it is also the link between your brain and the rest of your body. Sometimes, the spine can lose correct balance and posture. This interferes with the function of your nervous system and can lead to pain, pressure or muscle spasm.

You don't have to be in pain to have a spinal imbalance

In fact, most people will have spinal imbalance long before they notice any symptoms.

This is why people who experience headaches, stiffness, numbness, fatigue and pain may benefit from Chiropractic. By improving spinal function, we improve the nervous system and allow the body to heal itself naturally.

Early detection and prevention is best

Like most health-related issues, finding out early if you have a spinal issue, including increased curvature, muscle weakness or spinal degeneration, often means it can be treated more easily.

And of course, Chiropractic focuses on a natural method of health care, by addressing the causes of imbalance to your spine and physical frame.

And empowers you with guidance on postural correction, exercise and other lifestyle factors so you can also positively impact your health.

What do we assess in your check up?

We perform a comprehensive assessment to measure:

  • Posture
  • Balance
  • Orthopaedic Assessment
  • Range of motion and flexibility
  • Tenderness in spinal bones, joints, muscles and other soft tissues
  • Neurological testing
  • General health and well-being, medical history and lifestyle factors

We also answer any questions you have about your health within our area of expertise and can refer you to specialists if necessary.
