Week 3 Simply Health Lockdown Challenge

Welcome to Week 3 of our 6-week lockdown challenge.  We hope you’re managing well in these difficult times and enjoying the challenges so far. Our Week 3 Challenge is to perform a daily posture exercise program, called Straighten Up.

Straighten Up

Straighten Up is a free app developed by the Australian Chiropractors Association.  Consisting of a set of simple exercises and taking just three minutes to complete, Straighten Up will help improve posture, stabilise core muscle groups, enhance health and prevent spinal disability.

This is the perfect program to break up your day, especially if you’re spending long periods at the computer.

Clinical Exercise

Most of our patients will already be on an individual exercise program that we have recommended for you.  Straighten Up is an ‘add on’ challenge and is not to replace your current program.

Once stage 4 restrictions are lifted our physiotherapist, Mitch Casey, will be commencing and we will also open our Clinical Exercise Studio.  Your future exercise programs will be more advanced and will include app based technology so you can refer to exercise videos and monitor your progression.
